Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Procurement Of A Framework Agreement For Architect Services (Ark), Helse Stavanger Hf. The Contracting Authority Shall Enter Into A Framework Agreement For Architect Services (Ark). The Objective Of The Framework Agreement Is To Ensure That The Contracting Authority, Throughout The Contract Period, Has Access To Assistance From Good Architects And Accompanying Consultancy Services With Relevant Competence To Cover The Contracting Authoritys Ongoing Need For Services Within Architect Services And Accompanying Consultancy Services. As A Starting Point, The Framework Agreement Shall Be Used For All Types Of Projects That Are Relevant For The Service Areas Covered By The Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement Shall Cover Small, Medium Sized And Larger Maintenance Projects In All Project Phases And It Can Also Be Used For Alterations And New Buildings In All Project Phases. The Contracting Authority Can Engage Architects Outside The Framework Agreement For Larger Projects, Particularly Complex Projects, For Contracting Forms Where The Use Of The Framework Agreement Is Inappropriate, Or Where Other Conditions Mean That The Project Owner Desects It Appropriate. Contracting Parties Must Be Prepared To Assist The Contracting Authority In All Of The Construction Project ́S Phases, From Initiation To Completion And Warranty Follow-Up. The Assignment Can Be Reviews, Basis For Turnkey Contracts (With And Without Interaction) Or Joint Contracts. The Contracting Authority ́S Projects Vary In Nature, Size, Cost, Duration, Contract Form, Degree Of Difficulty And Require Resources With Teams Who Have Uniform Competence. The Assignments Can Have Different Sizes, From Minor Adjustments To Existing Installations To Major Construction Projects That Last For Several Years.
