The Procured Solution Includes Server Hardware To Be Placed In The Customers Data Center, A Storage System And A Solution Package Based On The Vmware Virtualization Platform. The Solution Package Must Offer A Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (Hci), Which Implements The Lifecycle Management Of The System Package And Enables Software Control Of The Solution Environment. The Acquired Solution Must Support The Expansion Of The Virtualization Environment With Another Independently Functioning Server Cluster, Which Is An Implementation Solution Based On The Same Technology And Under The Same Centralized Management. The Possible Procurement Of A Second Data Center Solution Will Take Place In The Coming Years To Another Data Center Located In Jyväskylä. The System Solution To Be Procured Must Be A Technology Solution Based On A Single Device Manufacturers Solution, Where The Whole Entity Works Seamlessly Together And Is Managed By One And The Same Management System. The Systems Capacity (Cpu Power And Storage Space) Can Be Scaled Independently And, If Necessary, Easily Changed As Needs Grow. The Acquired System Is Fault-Tolerant And Has A High Level Of Availability (High Availability). The Procurement Is Done In Two Phases, One Computer Room At A Time. The First Data Center Solution (Data Center A) Will Be Procured Based On This Tender At The Beginning Of 2025, And The Second (Data Center B) Will Be Acquired Approximately During 2026, When The Current Server Environment For The Second Data Center B Will Reach The End Of Its Life Cycle. The Service Life And Life Cycle Of The Solution To Be Purchased Must Be At Least 5 Years (+1 Year As An Option). The Purchasing Unit Can Make Additional Purchases Related To Scaling The Capacity Of The Acquired System From The Selected Supplier For The Duration Of The Systems Projected Life Cycle.
