The Object And Goal Of The Work, To Be Carried Out On The Choir And Transepts Of The Abbey Church In Aulne, A Preserved Site, Is A Consolidation Of The Whole In Its Current State. It Is Not A Question Of Recreating Volumes Or Architectural Elements That Have Disappeared, But Of Preserving As Much As Possible All The Elements That Bear Witness To The Past. Any Current Intervention, Whether Large Or Small, Disrupts The Balance Which Has Stabilized Over The Last 100 Years (Last Phase Of Restoration In 1900).
