Harbor Construction Works – Port Of Esbjerg - Stage 5, Stone Surround. This Tender Is A Partial Contract For The Expansion Project Stage 5 At Esbjerg Harbour. The Entire Expansion Project Concerns A Port Expansion Of Almost 60 Ha, East Of The Existing Port Boundary. The Materials For Filling In The Expansion Area Come From A Deepening Project Of The Waterway Which Will Be Carried Out From October 2024 To The End Of March 2025. The Materials Are Mainly Pumped Into The Expansion Area. Prior To This, A Sheet Pile And Stone Surround Have Been Established To The West And South Where The New Area Is Extended Towards The Sea Side. Likewise, A Dam Has Been Constructed At The North End Of The Expansion Area To Hold Back The Fill Materials. This Subcontract Concerns The Establishment Of An Approx. 1.7 Km Long Stone Surround Along The East Side (Long Side) Of The Expansion Area. The Framework Is Built Both From Cover And Filter Stone From The Builders Depot, As Well As Additional New Stone (In Total Approx. 63,000 M3). A Sand Embankment Is Carried Out In Accordance With The Frame Of Approx. 210,000 M3. In Addition, On Selected Sections, Elements Of Free Screed As Foot Screed Must Be Installed In The Lower Part Of The Stone Slope (A Total Of Approx. 650 M And An Option Of Approx. 350 M).
