Project: Tender20391 - The Supply And Delivery Of Laboratory Solvents, Acids, Chemicals And Preservatives . The Supply And Delivery Of Laboratory Solvents, Acids, Chemicals And Preservatives Scope Of Work The Laboratory Services Branch (“Lasb”) Of The Ministry Requires Vendors To Supply And Deliver Several Different Types Of Laboratory Solvents, Acids, Chemicals, And Preservatives (Collectively The “Chemicals”) For The Collection Of Samples In The Ministry’S Field Activities And Laboratory Analysis. Many Of The Ministry’S Methods Require A Variety Of Different Preservatives To Be Added To Sampling Containers. In Order To Maintain Business Continuity, The Ministry Requires The Continued Supply And Delivery Of The Chemicals As Their Supply Is Depleted. As A Full Service Environmental Analytical Laboratory, The Lasb Offers A Range Of Routine Analytical Services To Internal Ministry Clients, Performs Analytical Method Development, Evaluates New Analytical Technologies To Better Serve Its Clients And Participates In Mandatory Proficiency Testing Programs. Lasb Provides Analytical Support, Develops Methods, Supports Standard Setting, And Ensures The Data Quality Of Ministry Compliance, Enforcement, And Emergency Analytical Testing. A Variety Of Chemicals Are Required For Collection Of Environmental Samples That Undergo Analytical Testing. These Analyses Support Various Regulations, Such As Ontario Water Resources Act, The Ontario Environmental Protection Act, The Safe Drinking Water Act, And The Nutrient Management Act.
