The Laeiszhalle, Donated By The Shipping Couple Carl And Sophie Laeis, Was Designed In The Neo-Baroque Style And Was Inaugurated In 1908 As The Largest And Most Modern Concert Hall In Germany. Next To The Elbphilharmonie, The Laeiszhalle Is Now The Most Important Building For Classical Music Performances In Hamburg. The Client Has Been Carrying Out Extensive Structural Work In The Laeiszhalle Since 2022 To Ensure The Smooth, Safe Operation Of The Building In The Future. As Part Of The Renovation Of The Laeiszhalle, A Fire Alarm And Voice Alarm System (Saa) Will Be Installed. Retrofitted. Line Array Loudspeaker Systems Will Be Used For This Purpose In The Large Hall. Since The Loudspeakers Can Only Be Visually Integrated To A Limited Extent Into The Overall Historical Image Of The Hall, When Not In Use They Must Be Lifted Into A Parking Position Above The Hall Ceiling Using A Lifting Device. Comprehensive For Both Lifting Devices: • Central Control • Control Panel For Normal Operation Of The System • Emergency Release Points For The Emergency Operation Completion Of The Services Advertised Here Is Planned For The 2025/26 Season.
