Metro Service (Hereafter Mese) Has Since 2002 Handled The Operation And Maintenance Of The Copenhagen Metro. In Addition, In 2025 Mese Will Be Responsible For The Operation Of The Light Rail On Ring 3. The Operation Of The Copenhagen Metro Is Divided Into Two Contracts With Metroselskabet For M1/M2 And M3/M4 Respectively. The Two Agreements Between Mese And Metroselskabet On The Operation Of The Metro Run Until September 2027. The Tender For The Operation Of The Copenhagen Metro For The Period After 2027 Is Expected To Be Decided Before The End Of 2026. The Contract Between Metro Service And Hovedstadens Letbane On The Operation Of The Light Rail On Ring 3 Runs Until To 2030. Today, Metro Service Consists Of Around 700 Employees, And Before The Start-Up Of The Light Rail, Mese Will Employ Up To 180 Light Rail Drivers, Technicians And Control Room Operators For The Control And Maintenance Center In Glostrup.
