Request for Quotation for Consultancy And Coastal Engineering Services For The Nourishment Of Southern Seven Mile Beach The Cayman Islands Government Is Currently Considering A Beach Nourishment Project With The Intention To Restore And Stabilize Approximately 4500 Linear Feet Of The Southern End Of Seven Mile Beach Which Has Experienced Chronic Erosion Over The Past Decade. This Will Include Advising On And Designing An Engineered Solution To Address Current Erosion And Assistance With The Procurement To Ensure A Long-Term Plan For The Beach’S Sustainability And Resilience For Future Generations. In Undertaking These Investigations, The Department Of Environment (Doe) And Ministry Of Sustainability And Climate Resiliency (Mscr), Are Seeking To Obtain The Consultancy Services Of Recognised Industry Experts In The Field Of Coastal Engineering, Particularly With Experience In The Caribbean Or Similar Marine Environments. The Consultant Will Be Expected To Bring Industry Knowledge And International Experience In Similar Projects. The Consultant’S Expertise Will Ensure That Any Solution Is Both Cost-Effective And Environmentally Sustainable, Drawing On Best Practices From Around The World, And Particularly The Caribbean Region
