The Task Involves Removing Vegetation And Transportation And Disposal Of All Residues And Debris. The Subcontractor Will Be Responsible For The Following Tasks: 1. Vegetation Removal Assessment And Preparation: Conduct An Initial Survey To Identify All Vegetation Affecting The Building, Including Vines, Moss, And Other Plants On Walls, Domes, Vaults, And Rooftops. Removal Methodology: O Large Plants And Vines: Cut Plants At The Root Level Using The Cut-And-Paint Technique: Cut The Vegetation At The Base To Prevent Regrowth. Apply An Appropriate Herbicide To The Cut Surface To Kill The Root System. Where Cutting And Removal Are Not Feasible, Use A Herbicide Injection Technique For The Root System. Allow The Plant To Dry And Wither Naturally Before Removing Detachable Material From The Structure. O Moss And Lower Order Plants: Use A Biocide To Kill Biological Growth. Apply The Biocide With Care To Ensure Compatibility With The Historic Building Materials.
