Site Preparation Work – Preparing Loswal 1A For Construction. Loswal 1A Is An Old Mono Dumping Site For Dredging Sludge, Located North Of The Zandvlietsluis. Loswal 1A Is Surrounded By A Ring Dike Containing An Area Of ​​+/- 17 Hectares With Historically Sprayed Sludge. South Of The Ring Dike Are The Magershoek Test Dike And A Settling Basin For The Dewatering Of The Dredging Sludge. The Intention Is To Prepare The Entire Zone For Construction At A Height (Approx. 6 M Above The Surrounding Area). This Assignment Will Include The Work To Supplement The Sludge Dump With Soil And To Create An Excess Height To Achieve Consolidation Of The Site. In Total, Approximately 600,000 M³ Of Soil Will Have To Be Placed Within This Zone, Including An Excess Height Of Approximately 2 M To Make The Zone Ready For Construction. The Supply Of The Soil Will (Largely) Be Provided By The Client. The Contractor Must Receive, Spread And Compact The Soil. Subsequently, Some Contaminated Soil Will Also Have To Be Excavated And Removed For Processing Within This Assignment. This Would Amount To +/- 35,000 M³.
