Project: Tender20322 - External Connectivity Infrastructure Services . The Ministry, On Behalf Of The Ontario Public Service (Ops), Has Established A Service Known As External Connectivity Infrastructure (Eci). Eci Facilitates The Connection Of Ops Networks And Data Centres, To External Network Access Services (Nas), Cloud Services Providers, Internet Exchange Providers, And Internet Service Providers. This Is Accomplished By Establishing Ops Servers, Routers, Gateways, And Firewalls (Which Will Be Owned And Operated By The Ministry) In Colocation Space To Facilitate The Required Connectivity. Scope Of Work External Connectivity Infrastructure Uses Co-Location Facilities To Allow Ops And Its Users To Securely Connect To Cloud Services, The Internet, Security Services, And Business Partners Through Efficient Virtual Circuits Within A Hardened And Resilient Infrastructure. This Eci Service Consists Of Ops Equipment Required To Facilitate Connections With Cloud Service Providers Being Held In A Colocation Data Centre Facility That Has Multi-Carrier Presence Available. Many Ops It Applications And Services Require Secure And Reliable Network Connectivity To External Networks And Cloud Services.
