Since 2000, The Ministry Of Taxation Has Published Reports And Analyzes On Cross-Border Trade, Where, Among Other Things, Estimates Have Been Made Of The Development Of Danes Cross-Border Trade Abroad. There Is A Particular Focus On Cross-Border Trade In Goods Subject To Excise Duty, Including Alcohol, Tobacco And Chocolate, As These Product Groups Are Important For The States Tax Revenue. Estimated For E.G. Quantity, Price And Value Of The Danes Cross-Border Trade In Various Goods Are Included As Prerequisites In Connection With Assessments Of The Socio-Economic And Income-Related Consequences Of Changes To The Taxes On Various Pleasure Goods And Food. Sub-Agreement 1 Deals With Data Collection On Danes Purchases Of Selected Pleasure Products And Foodstuffs Made Both In Denmark And In Selected Border Areas Abroad. Data Collection Is Carried Out As Half-Yearly Registrations Of Actual Purchases Via Receipts From A User Panel Of At Least 3,000 People. Among Other Things, Data On Quantities, Value And Prices.
