In selected countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, IFC has launched an initiative that looks to channel financing to health micro, small and medium enterprises (HMSMEs) through partnerships with financial institutions that want to finetune / develop tailored financial products and capabilities to assess / target this health segment more effectively. The first pilot of this initiative will start in Minas Gerais, Brazil where IFC is partnering with a leading Financial Institution (FI) that wants to sustainably grow its health portfolio, targeting the MSME segment. Thus, IFC is seeking a firm / vendor (the Firm) with local presence and established relationships in the Minas Gerais healthcare sector (including health services, life sciences, and MedTech) to conduct a market assessment to determine the size, financing gaps, market opportunities of the health sector for health MSMEs.
