Framework Agreement For The Purchase Of Furniture, Carpets And Lighting For Representative Homes And Rooms . The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Rents Approx. 100 Official Residences Worldwide. These Residences Contain Representation Rooms That Are Furnished For Official Receptions, Diplomatic Meetings And Other Representational Purposes. The Ministry Equips The Representative Part Of The Homes With, Among Other Things, Furniture, Carpets And Lighting Items That Must Have Contemporary And Representative Design And Layout, And Reflect Norwegian Culture And Identity. The Ministry Uses Its Own Interior Architects Who Prepare A Design Concept Adapted To The Individual Home, Including Recommended Furniture, Carpets And Lighting Items And Other Objects That Naturally Belong In Such Rooms. In The Following, Furniture Is Used As A Collective Term For The Products On The Agreement. In Accordance With This Framework Agreement, The Supplier Must Obtain The Products That The Interior Designer Instructs, And Organize The Combined Shipping Of These To The Freight Forwarder Chosen By The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs For Onward Chartering To The Foreign Station. A Framework Agreement Will Be Entered Into For 2 Years With The Possibility Of Extension For A Further 1+1 Years. The Value Of The Acquisition Is Estimated At Nok 5 Million. Excl. Vat Per Year, And Will Amount To A Maximum Of Nok 20 Million. Excl. Vat For A Period Of Four Years. It Is Specified That This Is Only An Estimate. The Estimate Is Based On Experience Figures And Assumed Development. The Customer Has A Right, But No Obligation, To Award Contracts On This Framework Agreement. The Customer Is Not Obliged To Purchase A Specific Volume During The Framework Agreement Period. The Agreement Is Not Exclusive.
