Expression of Interest for Security Risk Management Services. The Security Risk Management Services Scope of Works includes: Provision of high quality and experienced Site Security Risk Management services during the construction phase of the Mahenge Graphite Project, estimated to be a 24-month duration. The Services provider shall ensure that Faru is aligned to International Finance Corporation Performance Standard 4: Community Health, Safety, and Security (2012) (IFC PS4): o To anticipate and avoid adverse impacts on the health and safety of the Affected Community during the project life from both routine and non-routine circumstances. o To ensure that the safeguarding of personnel and property is carried out in accordance with relevant human rights principles and in a manner that avoids or minimizes risks to the Affected Communities. Development and implementation of Site Security Plan including policies and procedures aligned with IFC PS4 for the pre-construction, construction and operations phase. Key partner with the MGP Community team in village leadership stakeholder management and using technical expertise, identification, early detection/escalation of security risks in Project affected communities. Engagement with Resettlement Action Plan Implementation team on evolving security risks, trends and grievances to further develop and maintain the social licence to operate.
