Ferry Transport Services – Archipelago Traffic 2025-2026 (2027). The Regional Government Of Åland Hereby Invites Interested Bidders To Participate In This Procurement Regarding The Operation Of Archipelago Traffic For Four Lines In 2025–2026 + Option 2027. The Lines That Are Put Up For Competition In This Procurement Are: 1. Södra Line 2. Föglö Line 3. Åva-Osnäs Line 4. The Hummelvik-Torsholma Line During The Assignment Period, The Contractor Has Full Shipowner Responsibility For The Traffic And The Contractor Must Operate According To The Itineraries Established By The Customer. The Contract Constitutes A Turnkey Contract, Where The Contractor Provides Ferries And The Contractor Is Responsible For All Costs Including Staffing, Maintenance And Fuel. Outside Office Hours, The Contractor Must Be Responsible For Traffic Control And Information To Customers. The Contractor Must Use The Customers Ferries For The Assignment. The Ferries Will Be Leased To The Winning Bidder Through A So-Called Bareboat Charter. Bareboat Charters Are Signed According To A Separate Agreement. No Later Than Six Months After The Traffic Assignment Begins, The Tenderer Must Purchase And Make Payment For The Ferries Specified In The Procurement Documents. The Agreement Also Includes A Repurchase Option For The Customer At The End Of The Agreement Period. The Procurements Total Estimated Value For The Traffic Assignment Is Estimated To Be 54,000,000 Euros Excluding Vat For The Entire Contract Period Including The Option Year. The Sales Price Of The Ferries That Are Sold Amounts To 19,300,000 Euros, Which Is Not Included In The Estimated Value Of The Traffic Assignment.
