This funding is provided to increase the availability of services, and trial new models of specialist mental health and addiction services in crisis response. This funding is for 7.0 non-clinical FTE and 1.0 Clinical FTE specialist mental health and addiction services. The new services (24/7) should include clinical, peer-led services or peer support specialists as a component of the crisis response. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of mental health crisis response services to make a real difference in the lives of tngata whaiora and whnau in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
