Consultative Engineering And Construction Services – Technical Assistance To Support The Dgpc In The Implementation Of The Sfax-Sidi Bouzid And Kasserine Economic Corridor Project (Tunisia). The General Objective Of The Project Of Which This Contract Is Part Is To Strengthen The Capacities Of A Project Management Unit (Ugpo) Created Within The General Directorate Of Bridges And Roads (Dgpc), During The Implementation Of The Project. Sfax-Sidi Bouzid And Kasserine Economic Corridor (The “Project”) In Tunisia. The Project Concerns The Work To Upgrade The Gp13 National Road To 2*2 Lanes Between Sfax And Kasserine Via Sidi Bouzid, This Being Essential For Regional Development, But Also With A View To Ensuring, In The Long Term, The Improvement Of The Main Axes Of Inter-Governorate Trade Within The Country. For This, The Eib Plans To Set Up A Technical Assistance (Ta) Mission Provided By A Team Of Experts (The “Consultant”) With Experience In The Implementation Of Road And Motorway Projects. The Main Objective Of The Ta Will Be To Optimize The Services Of The Ugpo As Part Of The Monitoring Of The Project, From A Technical, Financial And Qualitative Point Of View, In Particular With Regard To The Environmental And Social Aspects Including The Requirements Linked To Climate Change. , As Well As Aspects Related To Contract Management And Road Safety.
