Amel works through 30 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for more than 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development 2 Scope of work: The purpose of this assignment is to seek a contracting Biomedical engineer, this includes the provision of Quarterly Preventive Maintenance or PM (the regular and routine maintenance of medical equipment in order to keep them running and prevent any costly unplanned downtime from unexpected equipment failure) and on-call corrective maintenance or CM (Task that corrects a problem with a medical equipment and returns it to proper working order), as per detailed in the TOR - Terms of Reference, for primary healthcare center (PHC) equipment located in 7 Amel Association PHC Centers (Bourj El Barajne, Haret Hreik, Hay El Sellom, Kamed El Loz, Mashghara, Ersel, and Al Ain) for the period 2 years subject to further extension of similar period based of satisfactory performance and with the consent of Amel Association senior management.
