Far North Queensland Ports Corporation Limited, Trading As Ports North (Pn) Is A Government-Owned Corporation Established Under The Government Owned Corporations Act 1993 (Qld) That Develops And Manages Port Facilities. Pn Operates The Ports Of Cairns (Including Marlin Marina), Cape Flattery, Karumba, Mourilyan, Skardon River, Quintell Beach, Thursday Island, Burketown And Cooktown. This Procurement Is Focused On Maintenance Dredging Activities For The Port Of Cairns. Maintenance Dredging And Bed-Levelling Of Other Operational Areas Within The Port Of Cairns And Marlin Marina Such As Berth Pockets, Fairways, Marina, Hmas Cairns Naval Base Etc, Is Undertaken By Ports North’S Own Legacy Equipment, Operated By Ports North Staff, With Essential Support Provided By Workboats, Harbour Tugs Currently Provided By External Service Providers.Ports North Invites Tenders From Suitably Experienced Consultants To Assess And Recommend A Long-Term Maintenance Dredging Strategy For The Port For Cairns.
