Tenders are invited for Nutrition Counselor. Closing Date: Saturday, 30. Nov 2024 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture, Development, Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 8 months The projects goal is for children and their caregivers to be able to meet their food and nutrition needs while community members gain enhanced awareness on food security and nutrition. Outcomes The counselling aims to promote better health outcomes by improving nutritional awareness, food choices, and overall well-being. The counselling targets specific groups, including children under 2 years of age through Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) education, pregnant and lactating women to ensure adequate nutrition for both mother and child, children under 5 to prevent stunting and other malnutrition-related issues, and households with demonstrated higher nutrition needs.
