Tenders are invited for Construction of 1No. Clean Mining Demonstration Centre at Tarkwa Apinto in the Western Region Closing Date: 19th November, 2024 Price of Tender Document: Gh¢800.00 No. of Lots: 1 Tender Description: Construction of 1No. Clean Mining Demonstration Centre at Tarkwa Apinto in the Western Region (GH-EHPMP-171045-CW-RFB) Country: GHANA Credit No.: TF0B3321 The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Africa Environmental Health and Pollution Management Programme (AEHPMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract(s) for the Construction of 1No. Clean Mining Demonstration Centre at Tarkwa Apinto in the Western Region. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Banks Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Works for the Construction of 1No. Clean Mining Demonstration Centre at Tarkwa Apinto in the Western Region. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Banks Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised in November 2017, August 2018, November 2020 and September 2023 (Procurement Regulations), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer to Paragraphs 3.14 and 3.15 setting forth the World Banks policy on Conflict of Interest. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit, Africa Environmental Health and Pollution Management Programme (AEHPMP), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Address (1) below from 9:30 to 16:00am from Monday to Friday. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Eight Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH800.00). The method of payment will be by Bankers Draft or Cash. The document will be sent by e-mail or collected in person on a pen-drive upon receipt of evidence of payment of the above stated amount. Bids must be delivered to the Address (2) below on or before 1:00pm on Tuesday, 19th November, 2024. Electronic bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids SHALL be rejected.
