The options might range from utilising a small number of larger facilities, to clusters of smaller facilities within easy access to the University Ilam campus. Some options might be for buildings facilities that already exist, and some might be planned or in construction but ready for occupancy from 2025 onwards. The University is interested in collaborating with property owners and managers as preferred suppliers to prospective students and in providing a supply line of suitable tenants during the academic year. The output from this RFI will feed into the Universitys accommodation strategy including delivering exceptional student experiences that will benefit Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.
