The City Of Maple Ridge (“City”) Invites Tenders For The Upgrade Of The Bosonworth Ave & 252 St Pressurereducing Valve With Scada. The Work Generally Consists Of:• Installation Of Scada Kiosk, Related Instrumentation And Antenna Pole.• Supply And Installation Of A New Necessary B.C. Hydro Meter And Electrical Power Service,Grounding, Field Wiring Of Scada Instrumentation And Coordination Of All Work With That Ofb.C. Hydro.• Supply And Installation Of Communications Conduit For Future Implementation Of Hardwiredinfrastructure.• Connection Of Scada Instrumentation To Existing Chamber Components. City Forces Will Beresponsible For Mechanical Retro Fitting Of The Chamber (I.E. Flow Meter And Pressuretransmitters). The Contractor Is Not Permitted To Work On Or Tamper With Any Portion Of Thewater System. If Any Water Shutdowns Are Necessary, It Must Be Coordinated Through Thewater Department.• Road Widening And Installation Of Curb And Gutter With Catch Basin Relocation.• Material Testing Including But Not Limited To Subgrade, Granular Base, Subbase And Trenchbackfill Densities For Road Widening, Sieve Analysis And Proctor Testing, Concrete Curb And Gutterand Parking/Working Pad Densities, Concrete Testing, Asphalt Marshall And Core And Densitytesting. Additional Testing May Be Required As Requested By The Contract Administrator.• Installation Of A Retaining Wall With Steps, Safety Rail, Vehicle Access Pad And Asphalt Workingplatform Around The Scada Kiosk.• Removal Of Dead Trees And Retaining Existing Trees As Directed By The City Arborist.• Grading And Topsoil/Seeding Of Disturbed Areas.• Substantial Performance Of The Work 56 Working Days From Delivery Of The Kiosk After Issuance Of Notice Toproceed, With Substantial Completion Anticipated By No Later Than July 30, 2025
