Tenders Are Invited For Accessible Toilet Upgrade Lauderdale Hall - Design Services

Design And Associated Works To Be Performed By The Consultant Is As Follows: A)Gather All Site Information And Infrastructure Details Necessary To Enable The Design And Modification Of An Existing Building Which Also Included External Public Toilets, To Meet The Requirements Of A New Accessible Toilet For All. Accessible Toilet Options To Be Considered By Consultant.Option 1 Accessible Toilet To Be Accessed From The Internal And External Of The Hall.Option 2 Accessible Toilet To Be Accessed Externally Of The Hall Only, With Access Paths From Main Hall Entry.Option 3 Alternate Accessible Toilet Option Supplied By Consultant.B)Prepare A Concept Plan Including But Not Limited To A Floor Plan And Elevations Of The New Accessible Toilet For All For Approval By Council Staff (No Existing Floor Plan Available For Lauderdale Hall)C) Complete All Required Documentation To Obtain Approvals Required.D) Prepare Engineering Design (If Required), Electrical Design, Building And Hydraulic Drawings, Documentation, And Specifications For Approval By Council. The Documentation Must Include A Specification For The Demolition Of The Existing Room. The Documentation Must Be Satisfactory For The Quotation And Construction Phases Of The Project Which Council Will Undertake. E) Identify And Document Any Project Risks And Provide A Risk Management Plan And Safety In Design Report In Compliance With Regulation 295 Of The Work Health And Safety Regulations 2012 (Tas). F) Obtain The Necessary Planning, Building And Plumbing Authorisations And/Or Permits To Allow For Works To Be Completed, Including But Not Limited To Those Required Under The Building Act 2016 (Tas). G) Obtain A Certificate Of Likely Compliance Pursuant To The Building Act 2016 (Tas) H) Obtain The Necessary Approvals And Authorisations For Any Electrical Design. I) Prepare And Provide To Council All Other Documents, Drawings, And Specifications Necessary For Calling Of The Quotations For Construction. J) Attend, Up To Four Face To Face Meetings To Be Held At Council Offices Situated At 38 Bligh Street, Rosny Park, Tasmania 7018, Or On-Site Meetings When Requested.K) Supply Gantt Chart For Design With End Date No Later Than 17Th January 2025L) Supply Cost Estimate For Completion Of All Construction Works And An Indicative Construction Timeline.
