Nov 2024 Intervention Sector(s): Education Remuneration range: < 1000 (USD) Duration of Contract: TBD Scope of consultancy: Translate IT (English to Arabic) and jewelry (French to Arabic) technical materials for training curricula, as needed. Ensure high standards of accuracy, consistency, and fidelity to the tone, style, and nuances of the original text, demonstrating strong writing skills. Organize and finalize translated materials, adhering to set standards for order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Edit, standardize, proofread, and revise translated content prepared by other employees and contractors. Assist with any additional tasks related to written content, as required. Coordinate with technical experts Qualifications: At least three years of experience working in translation (English/Arabic or French/Arabic). Extensive experience in translating political and socio-economic publications. Demonstrated leadership, versatility, integrity and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English, French and Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also operate independently, including under tight deadlines. A university degree in translation, language, communication, journalism, public relations, international relations, or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
