Through a Notice of Intent (NoI) the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) is advising interested parties of the intention to go to market to attract suppliers(s) for the upgrade of the Hanleys Farm Wastewater Pump Station. The Opportunity QLDC is seeking an experienced contractor to undertake upgrades at Hanleys Farm Wastewater Pumpstation (HFWWPS) to provide additional conveyance capacity within our wastewater network. The project broadly includes the installation of new pumps, new emergency storage tanks along with ancillary electrical upgrades to facilitate the new pumps. The scope of works broadly encompasses: Installing NP 3231/705 3 ~ 480 170kW pumps with 470mm diameter impellers to increase the stations pumped flow capacity from 122 L/s to 173 L/s. Strengthening the existing GRP wet well to accommodate the larger pumps. Upgrading emergency storage capacity with the installation of two new 2.5m diameter, 20m long GRP storage tanks and demolishing the existing overflow basin. Design, supply and installation of the revised electrical panel to supply to upgraded pumps. Interlocking the pump stations to limit pumped flow between 170-190 L/s, ensuring network integrity and preventing surcharging.
