Nov 2024 Intervention Sector(s): Women Status & Issues Remuneration range: 2000 to 3000 (USD) Kvinna till Kvinna is looking to engage a Policies expert to conduct a comprehensive review of all existing policies and procedures for our local partner. Scope of Work: The expert will be responsible for the following tasks: Policy Assessment: Evaluate the relevance, effectiveness, and compliance of current policies with international standards and donor requirements. Policy Development: Develop new policies or update existing ones to address identified gaps or shortcomings. Policy Implementation: Provide guidance on the implementation and dissemination of revised policies. Capacity Building: Train staff on understanding, applying, and adhering to updated policies. Responsibilities and Deliverables: The expert will be expected to deliver: Conduct a thorough review of our partners policies and procedures. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for policy updates. Develop and draft necessary policy documents. Provide training and capacity building to the partners staff on updated policies. Submit regular progress reports and final deliverables. Timeline: The assignment is expected to be completed in 3 months. Key milestones and deadlines will be agreed upon with the selected expert. Required qualifications: Demonstrated experience in conducting strategic reviews for government agencies or local organizations. Strong understanding of public policy, program evaluation methodologies, and performance measurement frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective facilitation and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of the Syrian and MENA contexts. Fluency in both Arabic and English.
