Tender Consultancy to Develop For Marsabit: County Energy Plan, Energy Policy and Investment Prospectus Company:GIZ Closing Date: 05.11.2024 CONSULTANCY TO DEVELOP FOR MARSABIT: COUNTY ENERGY PLAN, ENERGY POLICY AND INVESTMENT PROSPECTUS GIZ through Promoting the framework conditions for 100% renewable energies in Kenya (RE 100] and Promotion of Climate-Friendly Cooking: Kenya and Senegal (GCF/EnDev) Projects is providing capacity building support to Marsabit county undertaking county energy planning with the ultimate aim of meeting the requirements of the Integrated National Energy Planning [INEP] framework. The key areas of the support include but are not limited to the following: Clean cooking; Least cost electrification; County energy resources assessment; Gender analysis; RE/Energy efficiency; Data analysis and geospatial planning; Sectoral nexus analysis; and Value chain and business model analysis. In this regard, GIZ invites bidders to submit free of charge, and without obligation to GIZ, a bid to provide capacity building support to Marsabit County in developing their County Energy Plan, Energy Policy and an Investment Prospectus Plan. The consultancy will be awarded to a suitable firm that must be legally registered and operational in Kenya. The bidding firm must demonstrate the following: i)A minimum average annual turnover of KES 6,000,000 for the last 3 financial years ii)Certificate of registration/incorporation in Kenya for the lead firm submitting the bid. iii) i Relevant experience of at least 3 similar assignments of at least KES 4,000,000 per assignment [in terms of type and magnitude] with references providing assignment details such as client, type of services, duration of implementation, budget & deliverables. iv)Demonstrate at least 5 employees in the last 3 years Interested firms should send a blank email with tender reference 83474654 in the subject line to [[email protected]] between 16J0.2024 to 22.10.2024.
