Innovative, Gender-Transformative Approaches Are Needed To Address This Triple Nexus And Inform More Effective Climate Resilience Policies And Practices. This Assessment Seeks To Explore The Complex Interplay Between Care Economy Dynamics, Childcare Responsibilities, And Climate Change Impacts In Eastern And Southern Africa, Focusing On How These Factors Create Compounded Vulnerabilities For Women, Girls, And Children, Especially Those From Marginalized Groups.[1] ¹ Childcare Refers To Services Primarily Aimed At Caring For Children While Parents Are Working Or Otherwise Unavailable.
