Underground Work Other Than Tunnels, Shafts And Subways – West - Emmelsum Expansion (Wee) Lot 2: Area Development Including Crane Runway. The Client (Hereinafter: Ag) Is Tendering The Area Development Including Crane Runway As Lot 2 As Part Of The Terminal Expansion At The Emmelsum Location Across Europe. In This Context, The Client Intends To Expand The Container Terminal In The Southwestern Part Of The Port Of Emmelsum In Association With Deltaport Gmbh & Co. Kg, As A Port Association Of The Three Formerly Independent Public Rhine Ports Emmelsum, Rhein-Lippe-Hafen And Stadthafen Wesel. The Existing Terminal Is Operated By Contargo Rhein-Waal-Lippe Gmbh, With Its Locations In Emmerich And Emmelsum, As A Hinterland Connection To The Ara Ports For Container Handling. For This Purpose, The Approximately 300 M Long Quay Is Equipped With A Container Bridge. The Sloping Bank To The Northwest Of The Existing Terminal Is Therefore To Be Converted Into A Vertical Bank Using Sheet Pile Construction And The Existing Terminal Area, Including The Crane Runway, Is To Be Expanded. This Entire “Terminal Expansion” Measure (All Lots) Includes: • Dismantling Measures • Construction Of A Quay As A Vertical Bank Including A Wing Wall • Backfilling Of The Quay And The Wing Wall To Create The Port Operating Areas • Deep Dredging To Adapt The Existing Harbor Bed At The Northwest End Of The Planned Berth , Creation Of A Water-Side Bed Protection • Construction Of Two Deep-Founded Crane Track Beams Over A Length Of Approx. 140 M As An Extension Of Existing Infrastructure • Extending An Existing Rail Track By Approx. 130 M • Developing And Fortifying A Terminal Area On Approx. 11,300 M² Including Rainwater Drainage, A Leakage And Fire Water Retention Basin, Fire Water Supply And Electrical Supply Equipment The Entire “Terminal Expansion” Measure Was In Turn Divided Into A Total Of Four Lots, Which According To The Current Planning Status Are To Be Awarded In Four Different Europe-Wide Tenders: • Lot 1: Hydraulic Engineering (Already In Progress) • Lot 2 : Area Development/Crane Runway • Lot 3: Electrical Engineering • Lot 4: Track Construction • Lot 5: Gantry Crane The Lot 2 “Area Development Including Crane Runway” Advertised Here Includes The Following Services: • Quay Head • Crane Runway Beams Including Deep Foundations • Explosive Ordnance Sounding, • Soil Application And Removal • Drainage • Empty Pipe System • Lw Supply • Surface Paving A Detailed Project Description And The Corresponding Performance Target Are Included In The Construction Description (Service Description Part A “Construction Description” Along With Appendices, Appendix 03) And The List Of Services (Service Description Part B “Specification List” Along With Appendices, Appendix 04A). ).
