This initiative aims to enhance our understanding of this invasive species and inform future management strategies. Conditional grant(s) funding available: total allocated funding $457,500 Applications Close: 4 November 2024, 5 pm. The primary project output is to be a detailed impact assessment (strategic science) report on the long-term impacts of exotic caulerpa and recommendations for future management approach. To be eligible, applicants must be a New Zealand-registered business or organisation, a registered charity, a Mori entity, an incorporated representative body, or a collective with an authorised legal representative. Proposals should demonstrate robust scientific methodology, relevant experience, and a clear understanding of health and safety management, alongside a commitment to open intellectual property sharing.
