Request for Tenders (RFT) for Civil Contractor - Mangaroa School - Parking and Road Safety Improvements - (Wellington) Open Date: Thursday, 17 October 2024 9:00 AM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Close Date: Monday, 11 November 2024 5:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Tender Type: Request for Tenders (RFT) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: Wellington Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: The BOT at Mangaroa School are seeking the services of a civil contractor to undertake the construction of Parking and Road Safety Improvements. **Please price this as per the excel attached schedule of prices*** Construction Dates: December 2024 onwards. The work is described in the tender documents prepared by IR Group and involves: Fence off the proposed site area and operate under a SSSP. Removal of existing car parking, fencing, gates and large trees as indicated Construct new asphalt staff carpark to the east of the site Construct new short term visitor park on the western side of the site Construct new drop off and pick up zone and bus bay and provide waiting shelter all along the front of the school (Note: shift parking to inside the site so no backing out onto the road) Supply and Installation of signage and road markings to meet council requirements Leave site clean and tidy. Project consultants are: o Project Manager: IR Group o Lead Designer: IR Group Contractors should detail their plan to ensure an efficient delivery (eg. pre-order products, line up sub-contractors). Ensuring minimal disruption to the school and having an efficient programme are paramount. The Contractor will be engaged through an MOE medium works contract (Construction contracts for professional services and works).
