Expression of Interest are invited for Digitization of FPOs in Kenya (Vendor 1) Necessary Skills and Experience The firm should have the following skills and expertise. Demonstrated experience with deployment of digital solutions at scale in rural financial and agricultural service providers, digital financial services and related technical support services, and agricultural markets, particularly in Kenya Excellent analytical, project management, and relationship management skills and a successful track record in rural Kenya In cases more than one firm are applying as consortium, the combination of firms should have solutions with interoperable data systems and interfaces, allowing for seamless integration and analytics. Consortium applicants must have clearly articulated advantages of regional experience or specialization within Kenya and well-defined SoPs for partnership. Demonstrated experience and/or deep domain knowledge of developing member-level credit profiles with a keen understanding of building in farm and farmer level data in building robust risk profiles Demonstrated experience in innovative approaches to agricultural and credit intelligence and decision-making that leverage the collection and analysis of a range of different types of data, emerging agriculture data infrastructure, digital technologies, and precision agriculture tools to better smallholder farmers, particularly women Preferably demonstrated experience of working with national and/or county governments in implementing digital transformation strategies/deployment of digital solutions to improve workflows and results management Preferably demonstrated experience/ability to negotiate and deliver cost effective deployment by leveraging economies of scale especially with proprietary license providers Demonstrated experience in distilling insights from the results of data analysis and creating a range of clear, engaging communications outputs that are understandable, relevant, and actionable to various audiences, particularly those with who are not data scientists Excellent track record of previous work with SACCOs and FPOs in at least 5 counties and 2 agro-ecological regions in Kenya Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English, with demonstrated credibility at the senior level and the ability to adapt communication styles to various audiences and diverse stakeholders and the ability and creativity to explore a range of knowledge products and outputs Proactive, positive approach to collaboration and communications with CGAP, WBG Ag GP, Dalberg, and partners in all phases of work All materials produced or acquired during the appointment written, graphic, film, and digital audio/video or otherwise shall remain the property of the World Bank unless and to the extent such rights are explicitly relinquished (in whole or in part) by the World Bank, in writing. The World Bank furthermore retains the exclusive right to publish or disseminate in all languages any reports arising from such materials. In the event of early termination of the appointment or non-renewal upon its expiration, the Vendor shall, if requested by CGAP, deliver to it copies of all materials and data developed with CGAP funds. Any material developed by the Vendor under these TORs may not be used without written prior approval by the World Bank.
