In The Second Half Of 2025 (1 July – 31 December 2025), Denmark Will Hold The Eu Presidency, Which Will Result In Extensive Meeting Activity On Danish Soil. It Is Thus Expected That Two Summits Will Be Held During This Period, Approx. 15 Informal Ministerial Meetings, A Meeting Between The Government And The Eu Commission, A Chairmens Conference For The European Parliament And Up To 120 Official Meetings And Conferences. The Participants Will Be Ministers, Civil Servants And Press People From The Member States Of The Eu As Well As A Number Of Candidate Countries. In Total, A Total Number Of Participants During The Entire Period Is Estimated At Approx. 17,000 People, To Which Must Be Added Support Staff In The Form Of Drivers, Interpreters, Liaison Officers, Police Etc. The Meeting Activities Are Held At Several Locations, Including Greater Copenhagen And Jutland. For The Individual Transport Of Ministers, Other High-Level Guests And Their Delegations, The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Needs A Number Of Different Vehicles, Including For Motorcade Driving. The Technical Specifications For The Requested Vehicle Types Appear In The Tender Documents. The Offer Covers Three Types Of Vehicles (A, B And C). Vehicle Type A Must Be Used As Vip Cars And Must Either Be In The Sedan/Saloon Category Or Suvs. Vehicle Type B Shall Be Used As Escort Vehicles And Type C Shall Be Armored Vehicles. See More About This In The Requirement Specification, Appendix 1. The Supplier Must Make A Base Fleet Available To The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs From 23 June – 1 December 2025. However, Some Of The Vehicles Must Be Delivered Earlier, For Use In Training The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Drivers. This Is Described In The Tender Documents. The Base Fleet Must Consist Of The Following Number Of Cars: 35 Cars Of Type A, 35 To 70 Of Type B, However, Depending On Which Car Type The Supplier Offers, And 2 Of Type C. The Exact Number Of Vehicles Of Type B Depends On Which Type Of Vehicle The Supplier Wants To Make Available To The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs. This Is Described In Detail In The Requirement Specification, Appendix 1. The Contract Also Contains The Option To Purchase Additional Vehicles (Option). In The Period 23 June – 31 December 2025, The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Must Be Able To Requisition Up To 35 Additional Vehicles From Types A And B, As Well As Up To 13 Additional Vehicles Of Type C. The Requested Number Of Additional Vehicles Of Type B Cannot Exceed 35, Regardless Of Whether Minivans Or Suvs Are Delivered. Throughout The Entire Period From 23 June – 31 December 2025, The Deadline For Notifying The Tenderer Of This Will Be At Least One Month Before The Vehicles Are To Be Made Available To The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs. The Contract Also Contains Requirements For Certain Services, As The Supplier Must Be Able To Access Workshop Facilities And Have A Rolling Service Unit With Mechanics. The Service Unit Must Be Available 24 Hours A Day During The Time Periods Stated After The Conclusion Of The Contract, And The Supplier Must, In The Event Of A Need To Repair A Vehicle, Immediately Be Able To Provide A Spare Vehicle At A Location Notified To The Tenderer By The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs
