We are looking for a like-minded organisation with people who love nature, are innovative, have manaakitanga and sustainability at their heart, and who would like to explore the opportunities that could be on offer through this partnership. Around 150,000 visitors came into the sanctuary itself in 2023/24, including members, cruise visitors, free and independent national and international travellers, and locals. Many more visitors enter the Visitor Centre itself, where the café is located. The café operates 364 days a year, and is popular with tourists and locals alike. From a hospitality perspective, the café has a stunning outlook, with a double-glazed balcony looking over the sanctuary and the iconic Karori Reservoir.
