Request for proposals are invited for ESCO Pilot Demonstration Program Purpose and Scope of the Program CAPRED inviting applications rice milling, food processing, animal farming companies that have proven energy consumption are in improving energy efficiency participate the ESCO Pilot Demonstration Program. The objectives this are follows: · Testing the viability: assess technical, financial, economic feasibility the ESCO model starting the agro-processing sector. · Informing policy: generate insights inform policy development regulatory frameworks ESCO development Cambodia. Eligibility Criteria: o The facility is a registered company in Cambodia. o The facility has operated for at least 3 years. o The facility falls under one of the targeted sub-sectors: rice milling, food processing, and animal farming. o The facility owns the land and facilities it operates on. If leased, the leasing term shall be at least 5 years. o The facility spends on energy bill more than US$8,000 per month. o The facility has utilized energy-intensive equipment or processes such as cooling systems, dryers, millers, air compressors, boilers, heavy machinery, etc. o The facility is committed to improving energy efficiency and sustainability will be prioritized. o The facility is committed to embracing gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI) in business management will be prioritised. o The women-led facility will be prioritised. o Other eligibility criteria include: o Demonstrating integrity and high ethical standards. o Displaying sensitivity and adaptability to cultural, gender, religious, racial, national, and age differences. o Treating all people fairly without favouritism. o Fulfilling obligations to GEDSI sensitivity and maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment.
