Tenders are invited for Supplying 510 tons of 8 mm Copper Rods SPECIFICATION: 1. Nominal diameter (8) mm. Deviation acc. to ASTM B 49 . 2. Copper content of the rod Min. 99.97 percent .(acc. To DIN 1787-ASTM-B49 chemical composition ). 3. Oxygen content from 0.005 to 0.040 percent, as for E-CU 58 acc . to DIN 1787 (used for enameled wire production .the type of copper is ETP (Electrolytic tough pitch copper)). 4. Elongation at break in annealed condition-min. 35 percent in 200 mm sample at a speed max. 300 mm /min. 5. Conductivity in annealed condition at 20 C-min. 58 m/ mm2 and conductivity IACS at 20 ° C =101%. 6. Surface clean, sound, smooth , free of oxide, pepes , laps , cracks, Kinks, twists ,seams , damaged ends and other imperfections. 7.
