The Ministry Of Town, Country And Churches Hereby Offers Professional And Product Liability Insurance On Behalf Of The Danish Peoples Church. The Insurance Must Cover The Danish Peoples Church As The Policyholder And The Persons In The Service Of The Policyholder At Any Time, Members Of The Peoples Churchs Congregational Council, Provost Committee And Diocesan Council. In Addition, The Insurance Must Cover The Church Fund, But Only Liability For Damages (Incl. Difference Claims As A Result Of Work Injury) In Connection With The Operation And Maintenance Of The Houseboat Church In Sydhavn Parish. The Scope Of The Insurance And The Detailed Requirements For The Insurance Are Described In The Tender Material, Including In Particular The Draft Contract With Annexes. The Danish Peoples Churchs Activities Are Diverse And Range From Ordinary Church Activities, E.G. Preaching, Churchyard Management, Parish Council Work And Care, Teaching And Administration, For Agriculture And Forestry, Just As The Folk Church Oversees A Number Of Social Events. Indicative Information On Number Of Employees Etc. Can Be Seen From Annex 4 Of The Tender Documents. The Insurance Is Taken Out With An Insurance Sum Of Up To Dkk 25,000,000 For Each Claim, And The Highest Sum Of Cover For An Insurance Period (January 1 – December 31) Is Dkk 50,000,000. The Insurance Is Expected To Come Into Effect On 1 January 2025.
