The four existing streetlight Contracts come to the end of their 4+1+1 term on 30 June 2025. These contracts were awarded in 2019. The Auckland region is divided into 4 contract areas: North, Central, South, and Waiheke Island. The three main contracts, north, central, and south, are open-tendered. Waiheke Island is a Direct-Appointed contract to the Vector lines contractor, who has a depot and field crews on the Island.
