Television Broadcast Transmission Services – Offer Of Host Broadcast Services For Denmarks Eu Presidency 2025. In The Second Half Of 2025 (1 July 2025 – 31 December 2025), Denmark Will Hold The Presidency Of The Eus Council Of Ministers, Resulting In Extensive Meeting Activity On Danish Soil. A Number Of Informal Ministerial Meetings, A Meeting Between The Government And The Eu Commission, An Opening Ceremony And Two Summits Will Thus Have To Be Held During This Period. These Meetings Are Expected To Attract Media Attention And Therefore The Presidency Must Have An Official Tv Service Provider; A Host Broadcaster. The Host Broadcaster Must Deliver Tv Signals And Recordings To Accredited Tv Stations And, On Order, To Other Tv Stations Of The Major Meetings In Denmark. The Contract Will Include The Delivery Of Host Broadcast (Hbc) Services, Including The Necessary Engineering, Set-Up, Assembly And Installation As Well As Servicing And Operation Of The Equipment Used. The Hbc Assignment Will, Among Other Things, Involve Establishing, Producing And Providing Tv Coverage In Sound And Images For Europe By Satellite (Ebs) And Ten Use Of All Accredited Media, Providing Direct Transmission From Doorsteps And Official Press Conferences At Ministerial Meetings, Summits And Commission Visits, As Well As Providing The Technical Infrastructure, Incl. Set-Up And Take-Down, Which Is Necessary For The Provision Of The Task. The Scope Of The Task Is Described In More Detail In The Contract Incl. Annex Hereto.
