Orad Has A Collaboration With The Ministry Of Economy And Finance (Mef) In Mozambique On The Management Of Income From Natural Gas (Lng) In Mozambique. There Is An Agreement Of Intent With The Government For The Collaboration (Norad/Mef Mozambique, June 2024), And A Program Document For The Period 2024-28 (See Appendices 5 And 6). In Order To Provide High Quality Advice To The Government Of Mozambique On The Management Of Revenues From Natural Gas, There Is A Need For Relevant Consultancy Services. The Cooperation And Consulting Services Intend To Focus On Strengthened And Sustainable Governance By Advising Mef On The Following Topics: • The Aspects Of The National Government Fund (Fsm) And The Income From Natural Gas Lng Are Integrated Into The Governments Financial Policy And Budget Systems. • The Mef Fulfills Its Role In Determining The Fsms Investment Policy And To Monitor The Central Banks Management Of The Fsm. • Mef Generates And Interprets Forecasts For The States Lng Revenues, As A Basis For Proper Management Of The Lng Revenues. • Mef Publishes Information About The Countrys Lng Revenues, And How The Revenues Are Managed, In A Clear And Comprehensible Manner. The Program Document For The Collaboration Describes In More Detail The Main Areas For Support, Program Management, Risk And Sustainability And A Results Framework. The Collaboration Is Part Of The Tax For Development Programme.
