Project: Tender19790 - Operation And Delivery Of Cook Chill Food Services . This Request For Qualification (Rfq) Is Issued By His Majesty The King In Right Of Ontario As Represented By The Ministry Of The Solicitor General (The “Ministry”) For The Purposes Of Qualifying Prospective Suppliers For A Potential Subsequent Tender Call Process Relating To The Supply And Delivery Of Food Service Cook Chill Meals. This Rfq Is An Invitation To Prospective Respondents To Qualify And Forms Phase One Of The Potential Tender Call Process For The Cook Chill Meal Program In Correctional Institutions, Which Will Occur In Three-Phases. Three-Phase Procurement Process Phase One – Request For Qualifications Phase One Consists Of This Rfq Through Which The Ministry Will Pre-Qualify Bidders. Respondents Will Have An Opportunity To Visit The Cook Chill Facility During The Rfq Posting Period. Phase Two – Competitive Dialogue Phase Two Of The Potential Procurement Process Is A Competitive Dialogue Which Will Identify The Best, Available Solutions In The Marketplace That Align With The Ministry’S Requirements. All The Pre-Qualified Bidders Will Be Required To Attend A Mandatory Cook Chill Facility Tour Before The Competitive Dialogue Working Session(S). Phase Three – Invitational Request For Bids (Irfb) Should The Ministry Decide To Move Forward With The Formal Procurement Process Following Phase Two, The Ministry Will Issue The Irfb To And Accept Bids Only From The Pre-Qualified Bidders That Participated And Attended All Required Sessions In Phase Two. Scope Of Work Through This Rfq Process, The Ministry’S Intent Is To Qualify Respondents That Can Provide Cook Chill Food Services, Facilities Management, And Transportation Of Cook Chill Meals To The Receiving Institutions (Ris) For Over 6,000 Inmates Daily Across Ontario. Based On The Ministry’S Current Processes And Research, The Ministry Has Identified Five (5) High-Level Mandatory Deliverables That Are Further Outlined In The Rfq: 1. Cook Chill Food Services 2. Operational Administration Of The Ccfpc 3. Transportation Of Cook Chill Meals 4. Facility Management Of The Ccfpc 5. Business Continuity Plan And Contingency Meals Optional Information Session:October 7, 2024 At 11:00:00 (Toronto Time) Interested Respondents Must Email Their Intent To Attend The Information Session To Jennifer Matts By October 4, 2024, At 16:00 (Toronto Time). The Ministry Will Provide Confirmation Of The Details Of A Microsoft Teams Meeting Invite For The Information Session Upon Receipt Of The Respondent’S Intent To Attend. Optional Site Visit To The Cook Chill Facility Located At Maplehurst Correctional Facility, Milton. October 9, 2024 At 10:00 A.M. (Toronto Time) Interested Respondents Must Email Their Intent To Attend The Site Meeting To Jennifer Matts By October 7, 2024, At 12:00 Noon (Toronto Time). The Ministry Will Provide Confirmation Of The Details For The Site Meeting Upon Receipt Of The Respondent’S Intent To Attend.
