The South Hedland Aquatic Centre (Shac) Features Two Water Bodies - A Leisure Pool, And A 50-Meter Lap Pool. The Existing Electrical Pool Heating Unit Within The Facility Is Nearing The End Of Its Serviceable Life. The Town Of Port Hedland (Town) Is Seeking A Qualified Contractor To Design, Supply, And Install A New Heating System Suitable For Both Water Bodies At The Shac. The Shac Hosts A Number Of Swimming Events Throughout The Year. To Ensure These Events Are Not Disrupted, The Design And Installation Of The Pool Heating Equipment Must Be Completed Without Interfering With Previously Booked Events. Swimming Carnivals Details Are Attached Within The Tender Attachments. All Work Under This Contract Must Reach Practical Completion By 17 March 2025 To Accommodate The Swimming Lessons And Carnivals Schedule For 2025.
