A National Strategy Has Been Developed By Welthungerhilfe Madagascar For The Period 2023-2026 Which Aims For A Madagascar Where People Enjoy A Better Quality Of Life, Are Free From Poverty, Hunger And Malnutrition And Lead Self-Sufficient Lives, With Resilience To Climate Change And Shocks. The Whh Madagascar Program Has Had A New Smt Team Since 2024 And There Is A Need To Harmonize Security Management Practices Between The Bases And To Structure Security Management At The Program Level (Communication Chains, Mechanism Decision-Making, Crisis Unit). Madagascar Is Currently Classified At A Yellow Security Level According To The Organizations Classification But Presents Higher Security Risks In Certain Intervention Zones, Particularly Due To The Presence Of Armed Groups And Banditry Activities.
