EARTHWORKS 2.1 Excavations in earth exceeding 1 m deep: trenches and holes m* 57 m» 2.2 Compaction of surfaces including scarifying for a depth of 150mm, breaking down oversize material, adding suitable material where necessary and compacting to 93% Mod AASTHO density m2 24 m2 2.3 Back filling behind retaining wall m3 48 m3 2.4 Hard rock (Blasting is necessary) m3 11.4 m3 2.5 Surplus materials from excavation on site to a dumping site to be located by the contractor m3 26 m3 Submission of Quotations Quotations should be deposited in tine Quotation Box located at Erongo Regional Council.
