Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Lot 1 Section 2 Dhusamareb-Qaradhi road (60km) The Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the execution of the works involving rehabilitation and reconstruction of Lot1 Section2 Dhusamareb-Qaradhi road (60km) to bituminous standard, 6.5m carriageway, 1.25m shoulders, construction of other ancillary works. The flexible pavement structure comprises asphalt concrete surfacing (wearing course), crushed stone base, gravel sub-base. The shoulders shall be double surface seal. Approximate quantities for key items in the Bill of Quantities are set out below: Excavation and fill 141,720 m3 Gravel sub-base 60,084 m3 Crushed stone base 54,205 m3 Asphalt concrete wearing course 390,000 m² Double surface seal 151,800m A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD$250 (two hundred and fifty US Dollars).
