Notice of Information (Advance Notice) (NOI) for Devonport Naval Base Dry Dock Crane Ancillary Works Open Date: Thursday, 19 September 2024 10:00 AM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Close Date: Monday, 30 September 2024 5:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Tender Type: Notice of Information (Advance Notice) (NOI) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: Auckland Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) are seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced main contractor to undertake the infrastructure upgrade works at the Devonport Naval Base (DNB) Dry Dock. NZDF is taking possession of a new portal crane in November 2025 and requires some infrastructure upgrades to prepare the site for the new crane. The works include: Electrical (supply new cabling infrastructure, switch gear and transformer), Mechanical (crane rail replacement) and Structural (a small building to house the switch-room).
