Tenders are invited for Drift Testing of Cooling Towers. TENDER ISSUE PERIOD 18/09/2024 to 22/09/2024 TENDER CLOSING DATE 07/10/2024 Scope of Work: Contractor shall be required to carry out the Services pertaining to the acceptance test and performance test for the Barzan cooling tower in accordance with the details and requirements listed hereunder: 1. The Contractor shall has valid license issued by CTI (Cooling Technology Institute) to perform cooling tower thermal performance and drift test for cooling towers. 2. Perform testing of the thermal performance of the cooling in accordance with the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) test code ATC-105 and the drift emission performance shall be tested in accordance with the CTI test code ATC-140. These two tests shall ensure that two key design criteria of the Cooling Tower are met. 3. Annual performance test: perform drift emission performance test on an annual basis for 20% of the cooling towers, i.e., 2 cooling towers per year. The choice of cells to be tested shall be rotated to ensure that all cells are tested at least once every five years. 4. Provide CTI certified personnel to perform: a. Installation & removal of temporary instrumentation and perform the pre-test preparation activities for the testing. b. Conduct testing in accordance with CTI codes. c.
