Expression of Interest For Consulting Firm To Complete Accreditation Gap Assessments, Costed Action Plan And Institutional Policies And Manuals For Bahamas Protected Areas Fund

Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Firm to Complete Accreditation Gap Assessments, Costed Action Plan and Institutional Policies and Manuals for Bahamas Protected Areas Fund (Bpaf) The Consulting Firm will execute several activities that contribute to enhancing The Bahamas capacity to effectively mobilize, manage, and monitor climate finance. Specific activities include: 1. Undertake an institutional gap analysis of the Bahamas Protected Areas Fund (BPAF), building on previous assessments, and develop an associated costed-action plan with timelines to guide the policy, systems, procedural and staffing gaps necessary for BPAF in pursuing GCF Accreditation. The plan should also demonstrate consistency with existing policies and strategies of the BPAF. 2. Conduct consultations with relevant national and international stakeholders in executing and delivering the above referenced Institutional Gap Assessment and Action Plan. 3. Conduct consultations with relevant national and international stakeholders towards the development of robust institutional policies and procedural manuals for the BPAF. Such policies and procedural manuals should actively build on the institutions policies and manuals (i.e., Grants Making Framework, Know Your Customer policy, etc.). The policies and manuals to be developed should include a Project Management Framework, and associated Manual on Project Development, Management, MEL1 , and a Whistle-Blower Policy; 4. Conduct consultations with relevant national and internation stakeholders towards the development of an Environmental and Social Management System (operational tools), and a Gender Action Plan that is consistent with the recent development BPAF Environmental and Social Management Framework (policies).
